Local author, Anne Bardsley, has written and gathered a total of 60 heartwarming stories about signs people have received from Heaven. Angel Bumps, Hello From Heaven has stormed the St Pete area.
This book is inspirational. You will smile, laugh and cry at the emotional stories. One thing you will know for sure. You are never alone.
The book was created when Bardsley told folks about her Mom's sign. "It was a week after my Mom's funeral and I was driving to work. I really missed her and I asked her out loud to let me now she would always be near me. When I turned the corner, my car was surrounded in little white butterflies. I laughed. I cried. I got my sign. A white butterfly arrives at every graduation, wedding, and birthday parties. She is still very close to us."
Some of the stories are quite humorous. The signs seem to take on the personality of the person sending them. Some signs are: butterflies, cardinals, feathers, coins, a song on the radio, license plates with significant numbers, dreams, something someone says at an appropriate time, missing items, a rainbow, a fragrance, and so many others. Each story in the book is unique, just like it's sender.
This is her second book. Her first was titled, How I Earned My Wrinkles, Musings on Marriage, Motherhood and Menopause. Both books have earned five star ratings.
Bardsley's work has been featured in Erma Bombeck's www.humorwriters.org, Purple Clover, Better after 50, Scary Mommy, The Grand Magazine, Island Reporter, Paradise News, The WIRL Project, Very Funny Women and many others.

She lives in South Pasadena with her "wrinkle maker" of a husband of thirty-nine years. They have five grown children, four super sweet grandkids, and two dogs. When they first moved to Florida her husband, Scott, wanted two knives, two forks and two spoons. No guests of any kind were permitted. That lasted two weeks!
