March 2018, TAMPA, FL - Rose Circle Garden Club, affiliated with the Tampa Garden Club, is holding its 26th annual tour of South Tampa Gardens on April 8, 2018, from noon to 5:00 p.m. This fundraiser is highly anticipated in Tampa Bay for the interesting gardens and the ideas they inspire the tour-goers. Funds raised are used to beautify the Tampa Garden Club, Fred Ball Park and other community projects.
The Earthy Paradise Garden Tour includes a self-guided tour of five, privately-owned gardens of residences in South Tampa and a musical tea party in Fred Ball Park from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. on the same day. Dainty sweets and savories along with iced tea will be served in the beautiful city park on Bayshore Blvd., which is adjacent to the Tampa Garden Club.
Advance tickets ($20) for the self-guided tour are available at Bloom Garden Shop, Bayshore Market, Earl's Garden Center, the Potting Shed, Sprout Gardening, and at the Tampa Garden Club. Advance tickets may also be purchased online at https://www.showclix.com/event/ep2018. Day-of-event tickets ($25) will be sold in Fred Ball Park starting at 11:00 a.m.
Once the tickets are purchased, attendees may begin their tour at any one of the five garden locations, beginning at noon. Carpooling is encouraged because of limited parking.
Tickets are also available for a Master Gardener-led tour via bus leaving from the Tampa Garden Club. Tour-goers can ride in comfort on an air-conditioned bus to each of the five gardens on the tour. The bus leaves at noon from the Tampa Garden Club. The tour returns around 3:30 to allow time to visit the musical tea party in Fred Ball Park. Tickets are available for purchase in advance only online and availability is limited.
